Does custom officials inspect traveler’s laptop for pirated Window XP when travel from Malaysia to Indonesia?

No, it is not really practical, and the customs officials don't really have the information to work out if your copy is pirated (many companies use the same copy of XP to install on several computers to save time and money, it is sort of legal as long as you own a licence). What they look for is CDs and DVDs that are obviously pirated.
