I'm a software engineering student and I want to buy a laptop that is suitable for programming. I want to spend about $700. please guide me. Thanks a lot :) I'm from Iran and I'm going to travel to Malaysia about 17 days later.

Basic laptop price will be around RM2,000 recently. Depending on your need it should not cost more than RM3,000.00.

In this range I would Prefers to go with This HP Pavilion dv6-3250us laptop is great. The processor is super-fast, backlit keyboard is amazing, and I love the fingerprint scanner. The graphics look great and once you tweak the sound a little, the sound isn't too bad. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone and I can't say enough about the backlit keyboard. It's kind of like getting your first DVR, you didn't see why everyone was making such a big deal about them, but once you get one you can't imagine going without it again
