Answer 1 :
Sure. It's different from Malaysia. But you can buy an adapter at an airport in Japan.
Answer 2 :
Yes the voltage in Japan is 100V. Just buy the multi voltage plug in Malaysia before u travel. Your laptop power supply can handle 100 to 240 volt, just plug into the adaptor and it will work as normal. Japan normally use 2 pin only. Camera can normally work 100 to 240V for Japan type camera, pls check your voltage input or your power supply if it is not a Japanese version camera.
Answer 3 :
1- Check your laptop and camera battery charger/adapter if its auto or dual voltages ( 100V~220V ) 2-Make sure the plug prongs are of the 2 pins flat type. 3-Normally the chargers for cameras are of 2 pins round type if purchase in Malaysia . Get the 2 pins flat type , normally sold at RM 1 4-The adapter for laptop if purchase in Malaysia are of the 3 pins British standard. You need to open the plug or get a "power pin changer" from any electronics shops. Normally sold at RM 4-RM8 5-Get all this done while in Malaysia , so no need to fumbles and runs around in Japan. 6- Same type of power plugs applies if you ever go to USA , Canada , China and Thailand . Except Thai and China is at 220V

Answer 1 :
Best to buy a computer that is compatible with the country you will be living in - check out electric voltage etc before you buy
Answer 2 :
probly malaysia
Answer 3 :
more than likely, your USA laptop was built in Malaysia. As far as cost, computers are higher, espicially overseas.
Answer 4 :
For the best prices, you are generally better off buying off the internet, so it really doesn't matter that much where you are ... and a used one from a website like ebay if you don't need the latest - greatest.
Answer 5 :
if buying online its not goint to matter much, if purchasing in a store, doesn't matter much but I would assume its cheaper in malaysia, just make sure its compatible for use in the US.
Answer 6 :
Depends where the laptop was manufacured. If it was manufactured in USA, of course it's cheaper in USA. Same thing if it's manufactured in Malaysia. I suggest a laptop with a Macintosh OS. Mac can't be barged in by viruses as easy as Windows. Maybe it also has less "backdoors" and "holes", not like Windows.
Answer 7 :
Its probably going to end up being cheaper in the US. Two simple reasons: 1) Always deals and such happening on electronics from vendors and the like 2) Malaysia is first source. They produce Laptop components, and ship them to assembly plants back in the US or any other Asian country that assembles, and then they purchase fully assembled laptops again, at much higher costs, due to Customs. So you will end up paying top dollar, for very bad technology When all is said and done, go for the US, and I suggest an HP because they offer the best options for the best prices. Wait till the summer, for new technolgoy and better discount. The releases from AMD and Intel in the processor and chipset segments, will definetly cause a price drop
