No, it is not really practical, and the customs officials don't really have the information to work out if your copy is pirated (many companies use the same copy of XP to install on several computers to save time and money, it is sort of legal as long as you own a licence). What they look for is CDs and DVDs that are obviously pirated.

Does Alienware do business with Malaysia?
I'm interested in the laptops in Alienware but I can't seems to find a Malaysian version of it's website, so I'm unable to identify whether they sell laptops to Malaysia.

Tourist spots and electronic stores in malaysia?
Hi there, am in KL in malaysia. Can anyone tellme what are the tourist spots (beaches, islands included) in and around KL. Also, i want to buy some electronic goods like Laptops, Digital Cameras. Can anyone tell me what are the good stores to shop for them?

For electronics, go down to lowyat plaza. Laptop and computer prices can even be seen at lowyat.net (updated weekly)

You want electronic goods????Then head on down to Low Yat Plaza!!!!...It's an IT mall.....You will spend hours there and best of all,going there during this time is just perfect as many shops will be offering great discounts!!!and bargains!!!!!....As you know,his month is the malaysia year end sale(YES)...So,i'm sure you know what i meant..... to get to low yat plaza,take the KL MOnorail to Bukit Bintang Station.....the IT Mall is just around there....Happy shoppping!!!!!~~~
