i want to buy a new laptop now... specs: good graphics light (under 2kg) vista (i will upgrade it to windows 7 later on) price : RM 1000- 3500 good processor about 12 - 14" screen and most important...available in Malaysia can u tell me the brand and the series.tq

i need to know.a macbook or a vaio
i need to know.a macbook or a vaio?
i need to know since im no laptop expert. since in malaysia,most users use windows,will it be difficult for me to convert my existing files from windows to mac?aiyo.die la like diz. thanx everyone.

YES. Most programs are written for windows and are not meant to be used or converted into Mac compatible.

Mostly cannot convert, Also very few programs for Mac. Why use Mac ? Better die loh !

basically all types of files can be opened on a mac. THe ones that can't be opened on a mac are Microsoft Office documents (U need a program called Offica:Mac), RAR compressed files, .exe setups. etc

You CAN run Windows AND Mac OSX on a Macbook. Mac laptops are the Caddilac of laptops. If you can afford one then you won't regret buying it...

DON'T BUY A DELL LAPTOP! Why?!?! Why would you want to put yourself through that kind of torture of owning one then calling that horrible tech support line for WHEN something goes wrong?!?!?!

are the lenses or glasses better for eyes
are the lenses or glasses better for eyes?
i am wearing eyeglasses,myopia it began as 1 and increased to 4 as long as i use laptop most time my eye vision becomes worse i have heard that lenses are risky because you can catch an infection ALSO what about wearing lenses in hot weather? is it ok? i live in malaysia where summer is only a season

contact lenses can be no worse for your eyes than glasses if you take care of them properly, nowadays most lenses are disposable but if you get non-disposable ones keep them very clean and don't wear them for too long at one time, lenses let some oxygen through but your eyes need to take big breaths from time to time as well i've never found that hot weather affected how comfortable my lenses were, cold and windy is the worst, the lenses dry out and make your eyes water
