Laptop charger 's voltage?
Hi, I am going to buy a laptop which has been made in Europe or maybe malaysia.Do they work in US with their chargers? I mean,the voltage in some countries is 220 while the default voltage in US is 110...Should they have a converter with them? or should their chargers support this ? Thanks.

Hi i'm not sure about the international voltage standards or anything, but i recently had to purchase a new charger for my laptop. The salesman said that the cheap laptop chargers only have one voltage, whereas the more expensive ones automatically adjust the voltage to suit the laptop. So if yo do purchase the europe laptop then you may want to purchase a charger in the US taht adjusts its voltage, or find out if the supplied charger does this
