whats a good way to spend $1100? easy 10 points?
im going to thailand, indonesia and malaysia.. i dont know what i should spend my money on.. i was plannin on getting a laptop i dont know if i should.. what else could i buy.. please be creative..

Well first off I suggest not getting a laptop from countries like them. If i were you I would find markets with cheap items like DVDS and games then I would bring them back and sell some and keep the good ones. Make some money back and have some cool DVDS! There are also cheap brand name cloths (but they are fake) But they still don't look bad. I would buy some.

I just spent 12,500 in Thailand and Malaysia... $1,100 of that was on a laptop (Acer Aspire One) and an underwater camera (Sony W170 w/ housing). I am quite pleased with both items. I didn't spend that much on clothes, but I had some suits, pants, shirts, and jackets made. For $1,100 you could completely update your wardrobe. If you need the name of a good tailor (or several) in Phuket, I can give you one (or several, haha). I spent about $500 on advanced SCUBA training... $1,100 would go a good long ways towards diving.

You can buy a laptop , camera and ipod for just $ 1100... A simple HP laptop costs around $400 - $ 500 , Sony digital camera around $200 - $300 and ipod around $200 - $300 .. Depending on their capacities , the prices might vary... I would recommend you buy those machines cuz they're very useful.. Cheers,
