It Acer Aspire One is a good laptop for a student?
it has installed microsoft office word,power point or excel?? can it play games like game house games?? when u buy the laptop does it has a window media player or something like that??installed inside?? has the pink acer aspire one available at malaysia or asia countries???already??

Acer Aspire One does not have windows installed. It has linux(lite version). An Intel atom processor, with1.60 Ghz,wifi ,512 mb Ram. The office it has is open office , NOT MS office. You need to install microsoft windows later if you want it. You can play games but made specifically for the linux platform. I think the one is available in malaysia, check out the wen site i have provided below. Overall i can say the one is a student PC, as the graphic memory is not high, it will play games but not the ones which demand, graphic cards. ~fiazio

This is a low end, low cost laptop. It is not a gamers laptop. There are options for the computer which will push the cost up but you still fall short as far as maximum memory that can be installed. Linux has a media player depending on what the desktop environment is depends on what media player is default. Linux is not a very good gaming type system. However it can be made that way. If you are going to go for the options, you are better off getting a different laptop as far as cost goes. As most reviews will tell people about these low end laptops, they are good for email, writing letters and cruising the internet.
