i need help on which laptop to buy...?
im currently searching for a laptop to buy, im no tech-savvy person though. i was initially torn between dell and acer, but then i heard that acer laptops werent so reliable. i was kinda interested in buying the 4920 gemstone from acer, but they say that acer laptops easily crash. i was also looking at the dell inspiron 1420.. anyway, i want the laptop to : a) have a non-glossy screen( if possible) b) 160 GB hardisk space c)have a webcam d)roughly 2.0-2.5 kg( not so heavy , to carry to class and stuff) e) international warranty f)easy to get fixed/good after sales service g) around rm4000 ( i live in Malaysia) h) durable ( last me for the next 3 years) any suggestions??? what are ur views on the inspiron 1420 or the acer 4920 gemstone? thanx ~

Visit different computer manufacturer's websites such as Dell, HP, Gateway and pick out a few models you like. Google for reviews of these models and decide for yourself. I can't offer any first-hand knowledge of which are reliable since I don't use laptops, only desktops. HTH
