MP3 I believe is fried from leaving plugged in when I put my laptop in Hibernation mode.?
alright i have a Sony MP3 and since I'm not sure what... version or whatever it is, this is what it says on the back: NWZ-E43F DIGITAL MEDIA PLAYER SONY CORP. S/N:5495741 MADE IN MALAYSIA well i wasn't thinking about unplugging the MP3 when i put it in Hibernation. about a half hour later i turn the laptop back on and i get a pop-up in the corner saying One of the USB devices attacked to this computer had malfunctoined, and Windows does not recognize it. For assistance in solving this problem, click this message. then, i click it and i get a pop-up again with all this unused port stuff and there's one that's bold and it says: The location of the device in shown in bold type. and in bold type it says: Unknown Device. So... how do i fix this or is there no hope? Thanks as always to anyone who helps me! Also, MP3 Won't Turn On.

most usbs sometimes "malfunction" so i wouldnt worry about it , make sure your mp3player is turned off ,unplug it form the computer and restart ur computer, with the mp3 still off try plugging it into another usb slot from the other you tried. If it hasnt turned on turn the mp3 on and hopefully it will install the drivers and work, Good luck and hope it works
